We can only afford catastrophic insurance for our family, with an insanely high deductible. We can’t do preventive or routine health, dental, or vision care because we can’t afford any more out-of-pocket health care costs. When my baby recently swallowed a poison and had to go to the E.R., we had to put the entire expense on our credit card to pay off over time because our deductible is so high. It shouldn’t be this way. Please pass Measure 50!
